Southerns Broadstock Interiors Ltd (“the Company”) is a furniture, fixtures, and equipment consultancy and supply specialist. The Company recognises that, although our direct environmental impact is limited, our activities may have indirect impacts on the natural and built environment. Environmental management and sustainable practice are integral to how we operate.
Our Commitments
The Company is committed to:
• Compliance: Meeting all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Sustainable Procurement: Working with suppliers who demonstrate responsible environmental practices and adhere to FISP and FIRA sustainability standards.
• Pollution Prevention: Minimising pollution arising from office, consultancy, and procurement activities.
• Continual Improvement: Improving the effectiveness of our environmental management practices and Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Identification of Significant Environmental Aspects: Assessing and addressing the most significant environmental impacts associated with our operations.
• Resource Efficiency: Using materials and energy responsibly and promoting recycling and waste minimisation.
• Employee and Contractor Awareness: Providing the training, guidance, and resources needed to meet environmental objectives.
Management & Review
• Environmental objectives are tracked through the IMS Objectives Tracker.
• Progress is reviewed during Management Review Meetings to ensure continual improvement and alignment with FISP and FIRA best practice.
• The Executive Leadership Team ensures that resources are available to meet commitments and maintains evidence for audit and certification purposes.
• This Policy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains suitable, relevant, and effective.
Communication
• The Policy is communicated to all employees as part of induction training and is accessible via the IMS.
• Contractors and other relevant parties are informed to support environmental commitments.
• The Policy is available to clients, auditors, and other stakeholders upon request.
